Nose Reshaping (RhinoPLASTY)
The nose is the single facial feature that has the greatest impact on facial appearance. In fact, we often underestimate the impact of a change in nasal shape. A rhinoplasty procedure is designed to improve the cosmetic appearance of the nose or to correct breathing problems. Patients are often bothered by a “bump” on the nose, the width their nostrils or or width and position of their nasal tip, all which can be corrected by a rhinoplasty.

PROCEDURE & RECOVERY
Procedure
Incisions are made either completely within the nostrils (‘Closed rhinoplasty’) or also at the base of the nose (‘Open rhinoplasty’). These hidden incisions heal remarkably well. The ‘Open’ technique is used to allow Dr. Cowan greater access to the cartilage structure of the tip of the nose when refinements of this specific location are required. Based on your desired shape, Dr. Cowan will discuss the method that is best for you.
