​As many patients requiring cancer removal are also interested in facial cosmetic procedures, Dr. Cowan also offers patients the opportunity to combine their recovery time from cancer treatment with select cosmetic procedures performed simultaneously and known as Mohs Plus - your silver lining.  All patients interested in Mohs Plus must be seen in consult prior to their Mohs surgery.

Although not all requests to combine cosmetic and cancer treatment can be accommodated, often due to the proximity of the site requiring cosmetic improvement and the cancer, Dr. Cowan will be able to recommend a way to try to stage your care to optimize your recovery and achieve your goals.
